Are you being bullied?
You have the right to feel safe, valued and supported whilst in school. If you feel a situation isn’t getting dealt with you have the opportunity to express your concerns and complain to the school.
Grab a notebook, write down all incidents that have taken place, no matter how small. Include the following- Who witnessed it What was said Dates/times Which staff members you reported it to What the staff said they would do.
Your school has an anti bullying policy which is the responsibility of all staff in school that it’s enforced ensuring bullying isn’t tolerated.
We know this always isn’t the case and many times students feel bullying isn’t dealt with.
You also have the right as a student to request a paper copy of your schools anti bullying policy.
Alongside the notes you have made and with support from family you can make an official complaint by following the schools complaints process
